Implementation of SJSN by BPJS and the Benefits Provided

National Social Security System and Benefits. The formation of the BPJS was not for commercial purposes or profit. The two BPJS institutions provide benefits to the Indonesian people in the form of:

Social Security for Health

Before the existence of the BPJS, the Indonesian people had difficulty getting medical expenses assistance. They must first take care of certificates and so on. After the emergence of BPJS Kesehatan (replacing Askes) in 2014, access to treatment has become easier.
To get health insurance from BPJS Kesehatan, every Indonesian citizen must first register as a participant. The benefits provided are graded according to the class. The community can choose benefits according to their ability to pay contributions.

Social Security for Employment
